I drink vodka from 12 noon to 5 pm, and then I start on wine.

Today is the first day I'm cutting out the vodka. Will still have the

wine of course.

One day at a time!!!!

Their /r/stopdrinking group has 235,000 members. At any time about 1,000 are online. Super active group. Anyway, I posted my positive experience with Monument, complete with a link.

First, the support groups are free. Then I subscribed (for $35/week) and got an MD plus 1-on-1 counseling from a licensed therapist. Wonderful!!!!!!!!

According to my doc here on Monument (who is great btw) Naltrexone works much better if you first detox. Meaning, stop drinking for 4 days before you start Naltrexone.

Here's a drinking text chat forum with 265,000 members. Very active..Â

She's 95 and since the age of 17 she's been drinking two big martinis per day every day. If you read my calculations below that's 9 drinks. I asked her what the secret was. She said she only ever drinks vodka, and nothing before 5 pm. Vodka is a very pure liquor. And by 5 pm the liver is in full processing mode. Early in the day the liver is very susceptible to damage and its ability to process alcohol is much reduced. Plus, acetaminophen makes things even worse. Drinks.. my calculation.. http://www.math-math.com/2018/01/the-mathematics-of-drinking.html
